December - News Views Update

On November 27th, the New York Times ran an article entitled, “Push for new jobs bill reignites old arguments. According to the article, liberal leaning economists are urging more stimulus spending because our 10 percent unemployment rate indicates that the $787 billion stimulus package was way too small. My God, how can human beings be so stupid? Stimulus spending creates temporary jobs which disappear when the spending stops and this being the case, stimulus spending stimulates nothing. All it does it put off the inevitable and create more problems than it solves. How much more spending do these liberal Cretans think it will take to save us? $1 trillion, $5 trillion, or maybe the answer is $100 trillion. Wow! Can you imagine how good we will have it if our government spends $100 trillion dollars to save us? Will Congress be insensitive to our plight and deny us this level of stimulation which we so desperately crave? Let's throw every bum out of office who will not vote for a $100 trillion stimulus bill. Isn't democracy wonderful? A chicken in every pot and two cars in the garage with the stroke of a pen from Congress and nobody has to do any work.

On December 3rd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Adapt or die becomes mantra against warming”. According to the article, because the world is presently losing the battle against global warming, instead of continuing our efforts to stop it, we should be doing things to deal and cope with it. This article, while disturbing, is far more alarming by the very fact that nowhere does it mention or discuss population reduction as being a necessary component of our effort to deal with global warming. How incredibly stupid we are to continue to exclusively address the symptoms of the problem instead of its root cause. Think about it! For the sake of having more children, we are condemning our children to live in a world which will essentially be an over-crowded cesspool devoid of life's diversity. We truly are pathetic and ignorant creatures deserving of the fate which we are foolishly insuring is in store for us.

On December 5th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “With U.S. at war, Obama honored for peace - His Nobel moment on Thursday comes at an awkward time”. According to the article, Barack Obama is being awarded this prize just after ordering 30,000 more troops to fight in Afghanistan. To his credit, President Obama says he does not deserve the award. However, this surely being the case, why is he accepting it? Is it right and proper for anyone to accept an award they do not deserve? Isn't this especially true if the person we are talking about is the President of the United States who, more than anyone else, should set an example for the rest of us? Barack Obama's willingness to accept something he does not deserve is indicative of a disturbing flaw in his character which indicates he is not really qualified to be President. How many other things is President Obama willing to go along with which are not right or proper in the course of doing his job? Americans deserve better than this. No, I take that back, this is exactly what Americans deserve.

On December 5th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Obama: Jobs plan to jump-start hiring”. According to the article, President Obama is finalizing a new job creation proposal he will send to Congress next week. This proposal will include more money for people to fix up their homes, spending to build roads and bridges, tax incentives for small business to hire new workers, etc., etc. It is truly incredible that our leadership thinks we are so stupid that we continually fall for the lie that spending money will jump start our economy. When money is spent, to be sure, jobs are created but these jobs only persist until the money is gone. This being the case, all this stimulus spending is doing is putting off the inevitable and this is exactly what those in Congress want so the next group of idiots we elect will have to deal with the problem instead of them. Because we manufacture almost nothing in this nation, stimulus money inevitably leaves our borders and ends up overseas. This nation was sold out by our leaders when they embraced globalization and voted for the permanent recession we now find ourselves in. Everything Congress does today is nothing more than smoke and mirrors to confuse people and to deflect blame from themselves.

On December 12th, the Daytona Beach News-Journal ran an article by Jeff Corwin entitled, “Die-offs multiply as humans push 6th extinction”. According to the article we are in the midst of a man made species holocaust where every 20 minutes an entire animal species on this planet becomes extinct never to be seen again forever. The phenomenon is known as the sixth extinction because it is worse than and follows the one which wiped the dinosaurs off the face of this planet 65 million years ago. In light of this, it is hard to comprehend that there are still Cretans around who think that mankind doings are not affecting our environment and we should continue to ignore what we are doing to planet earth. I'll bet if you research the matter you will find that these people are, for the most part, the same ones who thought up the absurdity known as Creation Science. Talk about stupidity! It doesn't get anymore stupid than this. It is one thing to play the fool when it comes to Darwin, but it is quite another to do so when it comes to Al Gore because ignoring Darwin has no consequences and is not a death sentence for life as we know it on this planet.

On December 12th, the Associated Press ran and article entitled “Tiger takes indefinite break from golf to salvage marriage”. According to the article, Tiger Woods is taking a vacation from golf to focus his attention on being a better husband, father, and person. What a breath of fresh air from a person whose career in golf can be describe as nothing less the phenomenal. Hopefully, the media and tabloid magazines will take a break from hounding Tiger Woods and his family so they can have the privacy they need to put their lives back together. Good luck on this one! In any case, think how much better off this Nation would be if Bill Clinton had followed Tiger's example when he was caught using the authority of the Presidency to sexually prey upon subordinate employees. No such luck with Bill Clinton. Instead of coming clean, he obstructed justice and committed felony perjury to save his sorry and pitiful ass. And why shouldn't he? He knew he had the support of our New World Order masters because of the services he provided to them. And now to add insult to injury, Bill Clinton is respected as an elder statesman of this Nation who has something to say worth hearing. Unfortunately for the people of this Nation, he never uttered the words which would have really been worth hearing; I resign.

On December 14th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled “Obama gets massive outlay bill”. According to the article, the Senate approved a $1.1 trillion spending bill which will fund vast areas of the Federal Budget. Let's see now; our government does not have the $1.1 trillion dollars it is spending so it will borrow this money, at interest, from the Federal Reserve Bank instead of creating this money itself as required by our Constitution. In other words, if Congress obeyed the most sacred laws of this Nation, creating $1.1 trillion dollars would not add to the national debt nor incur any interest obligation at all. Furthermore, why doesn't Congress realize that no one, not even the government of the United States, should fund routine operating expenditures with borrowed money? Even the village idiot knows that an organization which routinely does so is bankrupt. Unfortunately for us, the United States truly is bankrupt and this being the case, these expenditures are not being made to save us but instead, to bring about the inevitable. And what is the inevitable? It is the collapse and dissolution of this Nation to pave the way to a North American Union which is the brainchild of our New World Order masters.

November - News Views Update

On September 17th, the Chicago Tribune ran an article entitled, “Luxury dorms: Purdue University, other schools build swanky housing to lure undergrads - Maid service, flat-screen TV's, tanning beds - no perk is too posh for millennial generation”. Excuse me! I thought the purpose of a college or university was to educate. How does establishing a campus pecking order which telegraphs that some students are better than others contribute to this? The incorporation of class conciseness in this Nation's centers of higher learning will only serve to divide students into haves and have nots. How the educators and officials at Purdue can ignore these implications speaks volumes about where this Nation is heading. Will the next step be awarding grades on the basis of which dorm a student lives in? And why not? If a person is incompetent and bankrupts the company he works for, our government will bail it out. Upon receiving this bailout, the company in question will be able to pay our slacker executive the multi-million dollar bonus he was promised because he graduated from college with honors. Upon receiving this bonus, of course, our incompetent executive in residence will donate some of his ill gotten gains to the school he graduated from. By so doing, he will ensure that his kids get the same kind of preferential treatment he received when they finally go to college.

On October 5th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “White House says no Afghanistan pullout”. According to the article White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs, has stated that the idea of ending our flagging war in Afghanistan is not on the table. Left unexplained by Mr. Gibbs is how our war in Afghanistan differs from the one in Iraq? While running for President, Barack Obama promised to pull our troops out of that war. At the time, why didn't he tell us his promise did not extend to the one we are conducting in Afghanistan? Isn't it the ultimate act of duplicity for a presidential candidate to imply he is for peace when all he is really promising is to move the war to a different location? Apparently, Barack Obama believes in the doctrine of warring upon defenseless nations which are no threat to us. I guess he learned a thing or two from George Bush.

On October 9th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Humbled Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize”. According to the Article President Obama won this prize for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The key word here is "effprts".  What this means is that this award was given for not accomplishing anything, but instead for attempting to accomplish something. What a great idea! From now on, when a student fails an exam, their teacher should give them an "A" for trying. Similarly, all the contestants of a beauty contest should be crowned as winners because they all tried to win. Apparently, the Norwegian Nobel Prize Committee believes intentions are everything and results are not important. Move over Mad Hatter, Wonderland is becoming very crowded these days.

On October 8th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “House extends hate crime law to cover gays. The measure is attached to a $680 billion defense policy bill”. According to the article, the gay hate crimes law will probably pass because it is attached to must-pass defense policy bill which is strongly supported by President Obama. Unfortunately for us all, the circumstances surrounding passage of this bill clearly illustrate a failure of those in Congress to do their jobs properly. Obviously both measures are timely and important. This being the case, how is possible to properly consider either of them when they are linked together and inseparable? What if a member of Congress is against the defense policy bill and for the hate crime law? How should he vote? Does he vote against what he is for to defeat what he is against or does he do the opposite and end up voting for something he is against? No member of Congress should ever be forced to face such a win-lose situation. How can those who lead Congress justify orchestrating such an untenable state of affairs? I guess they do not care if the best interests of Americans are served and believe that getting what they want at all costs is more important than doing the right thing.

On October 16th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Federal deficit triples from year ago - Recession, cost of financial bailout leads to record $1.42 trillion imbalance”. The next day on October 17th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Bailout helps fuel new era of Wall Street wealth -  Efforts to save financial system helped titans make fortunes in fresh ways”. What is wrong with this picture? If you ask the members of Congress who are responsible for perpetuating this crime against the American people, the answer is nothing. Our financial system, aka the New World Order, runs our government for their benefit and not ours. Therefore, those in Congress who did this to us only did as they were told and by so doing have insured their future roll in a governing system stacked against us. In case you do not have a degree in economics, every dollar stolen from us means our children will be strapped with a debt they never will be able to pay. Furthermore, the inevitable resulting inflation from this obscene largess is taking money out the pocket of every American living today; that is every American who isn't a banker.

On October 20th, CNN ran the article, “Target, Walgreens pull “illegal alien” costume after complaints “ makes “mockery” of immigrants, March 10th Committee activist says”. According to the article, the immigration activist group called the March 10th Committee said that the costume, which consists of an alien mask, an orange prison suit, and a green card, makes a mockery of the status of millions of immigrants in need of immigration reform. In other words, it is politically incorrect to make fun of people who break our laws and in order to resolve this situation, we should change our laws. How truly heartwarming! Not only should Americans no longer enjoy their right to freedom of expression, but we also should remain silent while a group of foreigners dictate what our laws should be. Apparently, Target and Walgreens agree with them because they immediately discontinued sale of the costume in question.

Unfortunately, this month the most important news item of the day remains unreported in the mainstream news media; the fact that Continental Congress 2009 is presently session. What better proof do we have that the mainstream media in the United States is owned and managed by a group of people or are nothing less than traitors to this Nation and its people. This is truly mind boggling. Think about it! For the first time in over 230 years, Americans from every state in the union are meeting to find ways to get our government to obey the highest laws of this Nation; those enshrined within our Constitution and the mainstream media of this Nation is silent. Americans, as far as news reporting goes, are truly no better off than the citizens of the Soviet Union under communism. The mainstream media is now an organ of our government and its purpose is not to inform, but to control and brainwash. May God have mercy on the souls of these demented media executives. October - News Views Update

On September 23rd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “America armed, but guns not necessarily loaded - Gun enthusiasts claim Obama's election is fueling demand for guns, ammo”. According to the article, ammunition manufactures are at full production and still can't keep up with present demand for ammunition because Barack Obama is now our President. Of course, this demand for ammo and guns has nothing to do with the fact that our economy is in the shitter, more and more people are out of work, and Americans are turning to crime to feed their families. Maybe gun and ammo sales are up because Americans want to protect themselves from a government they realize has sold us out and is doing almost nothing really to help this Nation or its people. Could it also be that people are now beginning to realize that our own government has become a threat to our way of life and is leading us down a path to disaster? No, this couldn't possibly be true. Americans love being screwed and sold out by those we pay to protect us and look out for our best interests.

On September 26th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Army to allow Iraq war objector to resign - Commissioned officer was court-martialed for refusing to deploy in 2006”. According to the article, First Lt. Ehren Watada was allowed to resign his commission and leave the Army “for the good of the service” after his court martial ended in a mistrial. Lt. Watada refused to go to Iraq because he believed our war there was illegal and if he participated he would be a party to war crimes. After his trial, Watada's attorney said, “It has been our distinct honor to have represented a hero and a patriot”. Let's see now, is it possible that a war being fought for fallacious and contrived reasons may be illegal? And if it is illegal, instead of the Army removing Lt. Watada from its ranks perhaps, for its own good, it should remove itself from Iraq as our newly elected Commander- in-Chief promised to do. Apparently, the Army will not do this because, while its leaders are intelligent enough to determine that one of their own is unfit to serve, they are not intelligent enough to determine that our war in Iraq is unfit to be fought.

On September 26th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Study: Fewer terrorism suspects going to trial - Government is prosecuting only about one out of four of those charged”. According to the article the reason that only one in four terrorists are being tried is because government leaders are unable to agree on who is a terrorist. The article went on to say that many of those who are charged with being terrorists, often go free because there is insufficient evidence to convict them. Of the 8,900 cases referred to prosecution by federal authorities, approximately 6,000 were dropped because of insufficient evidence, a lack of criminal intent, or because they did not constitute a federal offense. What this article did not tell us is the cost of these wrongful actions by our government in dollars and cents and more important, the suffering an anguish of those wrongfully charged including their families. It is difficult to understand why government leaders have problems agreeing on who is a terrorist. If they just look to themselves and what they do, the definition of a terrorist becomes clearly evident.

On September 27th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Gates: Mistake to set Afghan withdrawal date - Defense secretary says a defeat in Afghanistan would be disastrous for U.S.” According to the article, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said that it will be a mistake and a disaster to set a deadline to end U.S. military action in Afghanistan. Excuse me! Isn't this the same position held by George Bush in regard to our war in Iraq? And wasn't it Barack Obama who caught the Nation's attention as his being a viable candidate for the presidency because he was willing to set a deadline for our withdrawal from Iraq. What's different about our war in Iraq as opposed to our war in Afghanistan? We are fighting the same people for the same reasons and the only difference is that we are fighting in a different place within the Arab world. I guess the truth of the matter is that we will not be able to withdraw from Afghanistan until we start a war in Libya. This way, the challenger in our next Presidential contest can promise to set a time table for withdrawal from Afghanistan and then once elected, move our fighting forces to Libya where we can continue fighting the same people for the same reasons. Which shell is the peanut under?

On September 30th, MSNBC.com ran an article entitled, “Obama to take weeks to study Afghan strategy – 2 top GOP lawmakers urge president to heed call for more U.S. troops”. Talk about a broken record! We surged Iraq, now let's surge Afghanistan and totally forget about the fact that we have no business fighting a war in either nation. We also have no business installing puppet governments in these occupied countries. Afghanistan is no different from Iraq and Obama has already determined that we should withdraw from Iraq. This being the case, why is he taking so much time to decide what our strategy will be in Afghanistan? Obviously, our withdrawal from Iraq was not a withdrawal. Instead, it was a redeployment and now President Obama has nowhere else to redeploy to.

On October 2nd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Despite recovery, employers aren't hiring - Unemployment rate rises to 9.8 percent as 263,000 jobs are cut”. According to the article we are in a recovery, but most businesses are nowhere close to hiring again because they are not sure the recovery is permanent. From this it is clear that our government holds that this Nation is being ravaged by two recessions; one being experienced by the Nation's workers and one being experienced by our government. However, the recession being experienced by our government does not affect those who work for it. Instead, this second recession only affects those who monitor the other recession. The point is that if their recession is improving as they say it is, then it is not their fault that the other is not because it would be improving if people believed what our government is saying. The moral of the story is that if people would only believe what our government says everything will be okay.

July/August/Sept 2009 - News Views Update

On July 4th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Thunderous applause greets Bush on July 4”. According to the article, former President George W. Bush was greeted by thunderous applause by thousands of spectators in Woodward, Oklahoma when he told them that the United States was “the greatest nation on the face of the earth”. Bush also received six standing ovations during the course of his address. Left unexplained by former President Bush is if the United States is the greatest nation on the face of the earth, then why do have a need to torture those who oppose us and why do we have to force our way of life on other nations through the barrel of gun. I guess when he said “greatest nation” the former President meant “most powerful nation” and the people who applauded him are proud of the fact that we are the bully instead of the bullied. The truth is that as long as the world is ruled through force and intimidation, no nation can lay claim to being great.

On July 5th, NewsWithViews, ran an article entitled, “Attorney General to classify pro-life, pro-gun Americans as terrorists”. According to the article, Rep. Alcee Hastings, an impeached judge who took bribes while sitting on the bench, has introduced legislation that would allow the Attorney General to classify Americans as being terrorists solely upon the nature of their personal convictions. Hmmmm! Let's see now! If an American believes in something which is not condoned by those in positions of authority, then according to this legislation, he can be classified as a terrorist, be tortured, thrown into prison, and denied their rights under the Constitution. And former President Bush calls America “the greatest nation on the face of the earth” to the thunderous cheers of thousands of citizens. Adolph Hitler was also wildly cheered when he proclaimed that Nazi Germany was a great nation. I guess it is okay for Americans to follow the example established by the German people especially when our government is now following the example set by their Furher. Seig Heil, anyone?

On July 9th, the United Kingdom's Telegraph ran an article entitled, “Marijuana could help solve California's economic problems”. According to the article, the Marijuana Policy Project, a pro-marijuana group is on a media blitz advocating legalization of marijuana so it can be taxed to solve the state's budget woes. Oh, I get it! After destroying the lives of countless numbers of recreational users by arresting them and throwing them in jail, California will now legalize pot, not because it is the right thing to do, but to get to get money to solve their economic woes. Why doesn't someone ask those who are rotting in jail because they took the liberty of harmlessly pursuing their own happiness by smoking marijuana, if they think this “is the greatest nation on the face of the earth”. I am sure these poor lost souls will have a different point of view than those who cheered our former President.

On July 14th, the Associated Press ran an Article entitled, “Ex-GM boss Wagoner gets $10M in retirement - Automaker, fresh out of bankruptcy, took $50 billion in government aid”. According to the article, former General Motors Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner will retire in August with a pension and benefit package valued at more than $10 million. Is there no such thing as justice in this Nation anymore? $10 million dollars in compensation for presiding over a company driven into a bankruptcy where its investors lost millions of dollars! How does anyone make sense out of this atrocity of this nature? Indeed, how does anyone justify a retirement package of the size in question irrespective of any other consideration? I'll bet Rick Wagoner would agree with President Bush that this "is the greatest nation on the face of the planet". However, I wonder what he thinks about the people who cheered President Bush? They are intelligent human beings completely in touch with and knowledgeable about the world around them. If you agree, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I would like to sell you.

On July 14th, Newsweek ran an article entitled, “The Recession is Over”. According to the article, the Economic Cycles Research Institute (ECRI), which discounts unemployment (a so called lagging indicator) as being a viable element in predicting a change in our economic climate, says that its key indicators are all flowing green. This means our economy is starting to rebound. As employment of the American workforce continues to decline, left unexplained by the "genius" at ECRI is how our economy is supposed to fully recover when our manufacturing and industrial base has disappeared to take advantage of the cheap labor and lax regulations in third world nations? If Americans no longer make anything, where will the real wealth which nurtures and sustains a viable economy come from? The answer to this question is that America has been robbed of its real wealth and the upturn seen by ECRI is nothing more than routine cyclical business activity around a norm that will forever stay below where it once was. We are not in a depression and we are not in a recession because where we are now is the status quo.

On July 30th, the Washington Post ran an article entitled, “House seems set on pork-padded defense bill”. According to the article the House of Representatives is ready to pass a defense bill which funds many weapons not needed or requested by the military as offered by Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Isn't this just ducky? There is no recession in government service, no recession for corporate executives, and now thanks to Congress, there will be no recession in our defense industry. How long can this insane and irresponsible spending of money we do not have continue? What will we do when interest on our national debt becomes equal to government revenue from all sources, which is not far off in the future? Will we borrow money to pay the interest on the money we borrow? If the actions of Congress are any indication, this is exactly what we will be forced to do.

On August 22nd, the Associated Press ran and article entitled, “FBI director rips release of Lockerbie bomber”. According to the article, FBI Director Robert Mueller sent a scathing letter to Scotland's justice minister which said that Scotland's action in regard to the release of the Lockerbie bomber “makes a mockery of the rule of law”. Granted, release of this despicable terrorist was a lamentable and terrible mistake, but who are we as a nation to chastise another nation for making a mockery of the rule of law? The highest laws of this Nation enshrined within our Constitution have been torn asunder, we invade foreign nations for contrived and surreptitious reasons, we torture people we think are enemies, and we lock them up indefinitely without being charged and without a trial. And it is the Scots who have made a mockery of the rule of law? I didn't think it was possible to do it, but Director Mueller has made a mockery of the word mockery.

On September 14th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Ben Laden reportedly calls Obama powerless”. According to the article, the terror leader said Barrack Obama is “powerless” to stop the war in Afghanistan and added that because Americans fail to understand why we are fighting there, it will be a costly experience. Ben Laden went on to say that their war of terror is being fought because of the Israeli occupation of Palestine and our support of Israel in this regard. Well I'll be darned! The Arabs fought the European powers for control of the Holy Land for neigh onto 2,000 years. Then early on in the 20th century, the Jews of Europe and the United States decided to try to achieve what 2,000 years of Crusades failed to do. Then at the close of World War II, the Allied Powers helped them by endorsing the creation of the state of Israel and no one at the time thought that the Arab world would object to this. No wonder Americans can't figure out why we are fighting a war on terror. For over 2,000 years Europeans fought the Arabs because they believed they had God on their side and today, we are dong the same thing.

On September 15th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “House votes to rebuke Rep. Wilson”. According to the article, Congress voted 240 to 179 to rebuke Representative Joe Wilson for yelling " you lie" at Barack Obama in a nationally televised speech before Congress. According to Democrats, Wilson had violated the basic rules of decorum and civility in his outburst. The Democratic House Majority Leader said, “The resolution is not about the substance of an issue but about the conduct we expect of one another in the course of doing our business”. From all of this is should be clear that if indeed President Barrack Obama was lying to Congress and the people of this Nation about his health care proposal, then such behavior is acceptable to Congress and anyone who objects to this lie should keep their mouth shut. The question which begs to be answered is which is worse, lying to Congress and the American people or calling out the liar. Even an idiot knows the answer to this question so what does this say about the 240 individuals who voted to rebuke Rep. Wilson. We know they are not idiots and this being the case they must all be liars.

June 2009 - News Views Update

On June 16th, and article appeared on the web from factcheck.org entitled, “Making Sense of Stimulus Spending”. According to this article, Barack Obama has repeatedly claimed that his stimulus spending has created or saved 150,000 jobs. However, while the President acts as if this is a hard number derived from available statistics, the truth is that the basis of his claim is an estimate derived from the original estimates used to justify the stimulus spending in the first place. In other words, Barack Obama really has no idea how many jobs have actually been created or saved and his pronouncement is nothing more than wishful thinking. Our stimulus package was supposed to save or create 150,000 jobs, then, by God, the American people can be assured that this happened and our President is going to make sure we have those assurances. The bottom line; all we got out of Washington from George Bush were lies and the candidate of change has changed nothing in this regard.

On June 16th, an article appeared on MSNBC.com entitled, “Obama blocks list of visitors to White House”. According to the article, the Obama administration, in step with the administration of George Bush, is fighting to block access to the names of visitors to the White House by claiming that the President should not have to reveal who he meets with to discuss policy decisions. In other words, Barack Obama believes that not only do Americans have no right to know how policy decisions are made they do not even have the right to know who the President meets with in the course of doing his job. Perhaps someone should tell Barack Obama that this is the United States of America and not communist China. During his campaign, Barack Obama pledged to return transparency to Washington. On June 22nd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, “Government asks to dismiss Geronimo lawsuit”. According to the article the descendants of the well know Apache leader are seeking the return of his remains which were allegedly stolen by the Skull & Bones Society at Yale. Why in God's creation would our government take sides with a secret society of college students who are so mentally challenged that they would steal and keep within their clubhouse the bones of the long dead Indian leader? Could the answer to this question be because President George Bush Sr. & Jr., and many other powerful people in government are former members of the society in question? This being the he case, what does this say about our Justice Department which made the request to dismiss this lawsuit? More important, what does this tell us about the powerful government officials who were members of this nefarious secret society? In case you are one among those Americans who have lost their ability to think, the answer to this last question is that it tells us that these people operate from a hidden agenda, are more loyal to a group of insiders than they are to the citizens they represent, place their own interests ahead of ours, and are not qualified to hold public office, never mind be President of the United States. When will we ever learn? When will we ever wake up?

On June 26th, NBC News ran an article entitled, “Obama eyes indefinite hold of Gitmo detainees”. According to the article, the Obama administration is considering indefinitely imprisoning a small group Guantanamo Bay detainees who are too dangerous to prosecute or release and will ask Congress to pass new laws which would allow the indefinite detentions. My God can this really be true? It boggles the mind that Obama would actually go back upon one of his most important campaign promises and to do so because some prisoners are too dangerous to prosecute raises absurdity to a new level. Too dangerous to prosecute? How in God's name can anyone be too dangerous to prosecute. I guess president Obama thinks Americans are too stupid to understand what he is really doing. What he is really doing is exercising the power to deny people their God given rights and he is using fear to justifying this crime against humanity. You read it here first folks! Our President has assumed the power to be the judge, jury, and jailor of his fellow human beings. Justice and due process be damned! Who needs those inconveniences anyhow?

May 2009 - News Views Update

On May 2^nd, the Daytona Beach News Journal ran an editorial entitled, "To Arlen Specter, the Senate switcher: Good riddance".  In this editorial, the writer, Cal Thomas, opines that the RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) have kept the party from renewing its conservative roots.  We frequently hear this hokum about the Republican Party returning to its conservative roots, but no one, even Republicans, really knows what this means.  The Republican Party is the namesake of our Republic so in the final analysis, "renewing its conservative roots" means that Republicans will support the restoration of our Republic and a return to constitutional government.  If anyone thinks that this is what the Republican Party really wants, then this person is not playing with a full deck of cards.  Let's not mince words here, the leadership of the Republican Party has no intention of ever returning to the "conservative roots" and as a result, there is nothing conservative about the Republican Party.  They, in concert with the Democrats, bear responsibility for the destruction of our Republic and the selling out of the American people to the criminal bankers who rule us and the rest of the world.

On May 10, 2009, NewsWithViews.com ran an article entitled, "Are you a terrorist".  According to the article, the Department of Homeland Security has issued a report entitled, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climates Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment."  According to this report potential rightwing extremists are people who oppose gun control, those who believe in traditional marriage, those who are opposed to the U.N., those who are pro-life, those who complain about illegal immigration, those who are concerned about corporate flight, those who are opposed to big government, and finally, returning veterans from our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  In other words, if you are an American who cares about what our government is doing and the direction it is heading, you are a potential terrorist.  This includes a majority of the American people.  That's right folks, you heard it here first.  We now have a government which considers a majority of all Americans potential enemies solely because they disagree with what our government is doing.  From my perspective, if indeed most Americans are the enemy of our government or even its potential enemy, then the simple truth of the matter is that the government is our enemy.

On May 12^th, the Los Angeles Times ran an article entitled, "Top senators reach a compromise on credit reform bill".  Noticeably absent from the reform bill in question, incredibly, is a provision to ban credit card companies from raising rates on already established debt.  If I have a credit card and the interest rate is, let's say 8% and make a purchase with the credit card at that rate.  How is it possible for the credit card company to justify raising, after the fact, the interest rate for that particular purchase?  In any other situation this would be called a breach of contract and in the final analysis it is nothing less than a form of tyranny.  If a credit card wants to raise its rates on my card, this increase should only apply to future purposes where I have the option of using my card or not.  Applying the increased rate to an already existing purchase is criminal, but apparently, this is perfectly okay with government officials.  This just goes to show you who they really look out for.

April 2009 - News Views Update

On March 30^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "U.S. to send more drug agents to Afghanistan - DEA aims to cripple terror-narcotics networks by driving up their costs".  Where does the DEA get off enforcing drug laws in foreign nations on the other side of the world?  Furthermore, why does the DEA think driving up costs for the terror-narcotics networks will cripple them?  Are they really so out of touch that they haven't learned that anything done to increase the costs for drug producers will simply be passed on to their customers and this will change nothing?  Our drug enforcement efforts have failed miserably in Mexico and now they will fail miserably in Afghanistan but this doesn't matter.  The DEA just loves to spend our money and if they really won the war on drugs they would no longer have a reason to do this.  Alcohol prohibition was a tragedy for this Nation.  Why can't we see that substance prohibition is failing just as miserably?  I guess the DEA has a better press secretary than the ATF.

On April 3^rd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "House, Senate OK budgets in trillions".  The Nation is on the verge of total financial collapse and Congress agrees with out President that the best way to solve the problem is to go on a spending spree of unprecedented proportions.  When will the American people wake up to the fact that Congress no longer determines national policy and the laws we will live under.  All they do is rubber stamp what our New World Order masters want and they do so because they are blackmailed into being the puppets they are.  If a Congressman does not vote as he is told, he is threatened with having his constituency isolated from the Washington gravy train thus serving to destroy his credibility with the people who voted him into office.  This is why an obviously guilty Bill Clinton was acquitted for his crimes and also why we have such harmful and unconstitutional treaties as GATT, NAFTA, and CAFTA controlling our destiny.  Think not, ask your Congressman about this.  If he is honest, he will confirm that this is how the system works.  Of course, if you really think you have an honest Congressman representing you, then you are a bigger fool than he is.

On April 15^th, NewsWithViews.com ran an article, "Obama administration targets conservative and war vets". According to the article, the Department of Homeland Security, in a confidential memo, has warned local police and law enforcement agencies about an assumed rise in "right-wing extremist activity" being fueled by returning war veterans, subscribers to state's rights, abortion opponents, gun purchasers, and those opposed to immigration.  In other words, most citizens of this Nation!  Apparently, if you are a citizen who wants to be involved and cares what is happening to us, then you are a potential threat to our government.  Doesn't the Department of Homeland Security understand that citizens are supposed to be potential threats to government, especially when our government no longer serves us? If right wing extremism is growing in this Nation there is a reason for it.  The proper response of our government to this situation is to address the reasons behind our anger and not by making criminals and enemies of the very people it is supposed to serve.  Apparently, the only thing our government does well these days is make enemies and criminals of people.  Don't believe it?  Just look at how many wars we are fighting and how many of are citizens are wrongfully languishing in our jails.

On April 17^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Obama releases 4 Bus ‘torture' memos".  According to the article President Barack Obama released four Bush era memos which authorized and detailed the torturing of enemy combatants.  In the same breath the President absolved the CIA and other government officials for the role in these crimes because, "Nothing will be gained by spending our time and energy laying blame for the past".  Excuse me!  Just who does Barack Obama think he is?  I'll tell you who he is.  He is the Chief-Law-Enforcement officer of the land and as such does not enjoy the luxury of being a judge and jury for criminals.  Serious crimes against humanity have been committed and those guilty are getting a free pass because our President thinks he is wasting his time seeing that justice is served.  Beyond doubt, this illegal, unconstitutional, and ignoble decision is the very worst one which possibly could be made by our President for change because it establishes the precedent that criminals who do the bidding of those in power are immune from the law.  Left unanswered by our President is what deterrents are in place to ensure that government employees obey the law in the future?  Can Americans rest assured that victims of our government will not be tortured in the future?  Why not torture people when it is a crime deemed not worthy of prosecution by our President?

On April 22^nd, MSNBC ran and article entitled, "As downturn eases, economy gets hard to read - Calling a bottom perilous even a ‘normal' recession; seeing mixed signals".  According to this article, despite the fact that many green shoots have popped up, the outlook for the economy remains muddy.  Well, no shoot Sherlock!  Are manufacturing jobs still fleeing our shores or are the companies that abandoned us returning to us?  The answer to this question is obvious and being obvious it should also be obvious that what we call a bottom to this recession is now the status quo.  Sure, the stimulus package will temporarily ease the pain, but the pain is not going to go away.  Furthermore, all more spending is going to do is drive us deeper into the hole that our government put us in.  We have lived with a bankrupt financial system since the Federal Reserve took over in 1913.  The chickens have now come home to roost and doing more of what got us here will not solve our problems.

On April 23^rd, the Associated Press ran and article entitled, "Is global economy shrinking? - IMF urges more spending".   According to the article, the global economy is expected to go into reverse this year for the first time since World War II and to cushion the blow, the IMF is urging more stimulus spending from world governments.  Isn't this just ducky!  The international robber baron bankers destroyed America to form their New World Order and now their solution to the world recession we are in is to destroy the economies of the rest of the world.  When are we going to wake up and realize that these people are the least qualified to manage world affairs and their leadership is a death knell for everything good and worthwhile in life?  The leaders of the so called New World Order truly are master criminals and the best way for the world to recover from their greed and duplicity is to bring them to justice and make sure they spend the rest of their lives in jail.  Normal criminals rob banks and swindle people out of their money.  These criminals subvert and corrupt governments so they can drain the wealth of nations to fuel and feed their greedy and demented designs.

March 2009 - News Views Update

On February 28^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Economy quickly shrinking - Contraction worst in more than 25 years".  The article went on to say that our economy shrank by a staggering 6.2 percent at the end of 2008 and was the worst setback for the past twenty-five years.  This last quarter tailspin was the result of a slew of negative forces feeding on each other and this situation is expected to persist at least through the first half of 2009.  In contrast to this gloom and doom report was a second article published on the same day entitled, "Fed official: Nation's economy has begun gradual recovery".  According to this article, John Robertson, vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, said the economy will get worse before it improves, but a gradual recovery has begun and we should see its results by the end of this year.

Mr. Robertson attributes his rosy outlook to the federal economic stimulus package which will spend the money not being spent by consumers.  Ignored by Mr. Robertson in his assessment is the fact that consumers are no longer spending because they do not have jobs and that by dong the spending for them, the government is doing nothing to permanently rectify the situation.  Any jobs created by government spending will disappear when the spending stops and it must stop to prevent a total collapse of your economic system.  We are caught between a rock and a hard place and the only way out is to bite the bullet and put an end to the economic policies that brought us here in the first place.  Instead our government is perpetuating the same idiocies and by doing so, is making our recovery far harder to achieve.  And if it keeps this up, it will be impossible to achieve.

On February 28^th, The Los Angeles times ran and article entitled, "Court rules against government in warrantless wiretapping case".  According to the article, Barack Obama's administration failed to block a lawsuit which alleged that President Bush's warrantless spying on terror suspects was illegal.  This ruling was one small victory for Americans, but one has to wonder why Barack Obama is so intent upon protecting the illegal activities of George Bush?  Doesn't an attempt on his part to block such lawsuits ultimately constitute an attempt to aid and abet criminal activity?  Barack Obama was elected as the candidate of change, but apparently the changes he will make do not include holding elected officials accountable under the law.  Unlike George Bush, Barack Obama's approach to governing is far more slick and polished, but slick and polished or not, we still are being led by a group of lying criminals.

On March 7^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Court ends challenge to exec power".  According to the article, the Supreme Court declined to determine if our president has the power to imprison people in the United States, indefinitely, without trail.  The article went on to state that the Court took this action to avoid a showdown with the Obama administration.  In other words, in order to avoid a showdown with the administration of Barack Obama, the Supreme Court by its inaction, has given the president tacit approval to imprison people in the United States without trial.  We pride ourselves on being a land of freedom.  How can we make this claim when human beings can have their freedom taken away at any time by our president?  Isn't freedom an inalienable right that cannot be taken away arbitrarily without the due process of law?  Apparently, our Supreme Court doesn't think so.  What do these judges think we pay them for?

On March 13^th, the Los Angeles Times ran an article entitled, "Iraqi shoe-thrower sentenced to 3 years".  According to the article, Muntadhar al-Zeidi, was sentenced to three years in prison for throwing his shoes at former U.S. President George W. Bush.  Imagine in that?  Three years in jail for throwing your shoes at lying war criminal who invaded your country and shoulders responsibility for the death and maiming of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women, and children.  Is this justice?  Apparently, George Bush thinks so and so do our puppets who run things in Iraq.  George Bush deserves a lot more than having a pair of shoes thrown at him.  It is a crying shame that those who have the authority to do something about George Bush's crimes do not have the same level of integrity and commitment as Muntadhar al-Zeidi.

On March 13^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Climate change accelerating".  According to the article, hundreds of leading scientist believe that global warming is accelerating faster than expected and this could trigger irreversible climate shifts on the our planet.  As bad as this is, nowhere in the article does is say that the biggest part of the problem we face is that there are just too many people trying to survive on this puny planet and that the best way to address global warming is to take steps to reverse population growth.  No, what good green Americans are supposed to think is that by changing out light bulbs and bringing our own shopping bags to the super market we can go on having babies eight at a time and spewing the inevitable ensuing pollution this causes throughout our environment.  Let's see now, how many changed light bulbs is equivalent to one baby being born?  Gee whiz, I guess it must be at least 8 or 10.  No, that's too high.  It must be four or five.  That's it.  If everyone in America changed out four or five light bulbs, think of the millions of babies we could add to our environment without causing further harm.

On March 20^th, USA today ran an article entitled, "House votes to levy heavy tax on bonuses of AIG, others.  Obama: Bill reflects public's outrage".  According to the article, The House of Representatives voted 328-93 to impose a 90% tax on the money awarded as bonuses to employees of insurers and other companies receiving government bailout money.  The article went on to say that the House action was in keeping with public outrage over the issue and that Representative Charles Rangel said the bill was a "red light" to companies receiving taxpayer aid.  Well, isn't this just ducky?  Doesn't it warm the chuckles of you heart to know that our elected representatives care so much about the feelings of Americans.  Only there is just one small problem.  The vote was unconstitutional.  Apparently, the 328 Representatives who voted for the bill who swore to uphold our Constitution, never read it because Article I, Section 9, of our Constitution states that Congress will not pass ex post facto or laws after the fact.  The facts are that the Bill in question passed by Congress, in keeping with the outrage of most Americans, places a 90% ex post facto tax upon bonuses already paid.  This being the case what is really outrageous is that 328 members of the House of Representatives who are mostly lawyers, intentionally and deliberately violated their oath of office solely to make ignorant Americans feel good.  And no one in government will discuss the specifics of this issue in Public.  Even worse, no one in the media will either.  God bless America and God bless our lying constitution trashing politicians.

On March 21^st, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "$9,300,000,000,000 (that's $9.3 trillion in deficits over the next 9 years)".  The article went on to explain that the out look may be even worse than this because the Congressional Budget office has predicted a deficit of $2.3 trillion dollars for 2010, alone.  I am flabbergasted and do not know what to say.  How any human being on the face of this planet can think that spending that amount of borrowed money is good for the future of this Nation is beyond me.  And this budget is being sold as a stimulus package to get this Nation back on track and return us to normalcy.  Barack Obama, during his Administration intends to almost double our national debt.  This essentially means he will spend more of borrowed money during his administration that every other president we ever had did.  After a colossal boondoggle like this, how can we ever be normal again?  The answer is, we can't.  What will our children say about us?  I'll tell you what they will say.  We were a bunch of morons who put our petty self-interest above everything worthwhile and good in life.  Our children will curse us and spit on our graves.  Okay, I am getting a little carried away here.  They probably won't curse us and spit on our graves because the chances are they will be just as stupid us.

 February 2009 - News Views Update

On January 24^th, Newsweek ran an article entitled, "Safe to Release".  According to the article, the Pentagon is about to release a report which will provide details about how 62 detainees who have been released from Gitmo are believed to have returned to terrorist activities.  Oh my God!  Are we really supposed to believe that after being arrested, tortured, and illegally detained all these years, these people are not going home to join prayer groups at their local mosques?  It truly is incredible that our government officials still do not realize that when you invade nations and treat people like insurgents and terrorists, people become insurgents and terrorists.  The United States is now the biggest force for evil in the world and we sit back incredulous when the evil we do begets evil.  What stupidity!  What hypocrisy!  Is it any wonder that the world is so screwed up?  And we have the unmitigated gall to think we have the right to tell everyone else in the world how they should live.

On January 25^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Record high drug levels entering India stream".  According to the article, almost 90 drug manufacturers in India, in one location, were dumping enough drug residues into a local stream to treat every person in a city of 90,000 people.  The stream in question was a pharmaceutical soup of a least twenty-one active chemicals and contained the highest level of such chemicals ever detected in the environment.  While this report is shocking to any normal person, it is good news to the globalists among us.  After all, isn't dumping chemicals into the environment a good way for companies to remain competitive in the global market place?  Environmental controls and compliance, make drugs more expensive to manufacture and companies have an obligation to there customers to provide the cheapest drugs possible.  An added benefit is that good news like this will encourage more companies to leave our shores and go overseas to increase their profit margins.  God bless capitalism and the New World Order.

On February 1^st, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Daschle delayed revealing tax glitches".  According to the article, former Senator Tom Daschle knew about his tax delinquency on June 8, 2008, but delayed paying past due taxes of $140,000 until this year and nearly a month after being nominated to be Secretary of Health.  President Barack Obama was sticking with his choice for Health Secretary because nobody is perfect and because Senator Daschle did not hide anything.  Isn't time for someone to tell the President of change that government officials who do not pay their taxes, inadvertently or not, have demonstrated they are not qualified to hold public office.  Oh, I forgot!  No one else who is not a tax cheat is qualified to hold the office in question and Tom Daschle is such a talented administrator that the country should be willing to suffer his transgressions to have him working for us.  Its politics as usual in Washington despite having a President who was the candidate of change!  How does our President expect to change anything when he has staffed his administration with people of questionable moral character and who bear direct responsibility for the mess we are in?  I know the answer to this one.  These people have learned their lesson and now because they created the mess we are in, they are the most qualified to get us out of it.

On February 1^st, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, U.K. seeks end to protests over foreign labor".  According to the article, British citizens are protesting the hiring of Italian and Portuguese construction workers for British energy projects at a time when more and more British workers are without jobs.  According to British officials, these foreign workers, under European Union rules, have the same right to work in Britain as British citizens and a return to protectionism is a sure way to turn a recession into a depression.  Wow!  The New World Order is alive and well in Britain also.  Hiring British workers for British jobs will turn the "recession into a depression"?  I wish the British spokesperson who uttered these words would explain why this is true.  Talk about fear mongering.  I guess President Obama and this spokesperson have a lot in common.  If we don't do what the New World Order wants it will result in disaster.  Unfortunately, what nobody seems to realize is that doing what the New World Order wants is a surefire disaster.  Why is protectionism such a dirty word these days?  All it means is that a Nation looks out for its own people before it looks out for foreigners.  Isn't this awful!  What so awful about a government doing what it is supposed to do?

On February 3^rd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "War commission: Iraq waste, fraud repeating in Afghanistan".  According to the article, unless something is done to change the bureaucracy managing infrastructure projects in Afghanistan, the waste and corruption we experienced in Iraq will be repeated.  Hey, here is something Barack Obama can easily change, but don't bet on it.  Word is out that Obama wants to stimulate the economy in Afghanistan and believes allowing corruption is the best way to do it because the disappearing money will trickle down and create jobs.  Why don't we try this approach here?  Oops!  Sorry for this gaffe, we already are trying it here.

On February 13^th, the Daytona Beach News-Journal ran an editorial written by Tom Friedman entitled, "Stir and repeat: How U.S. can reclaim wealthy status".  According to Mr. Friedman, America did not become the wealthiest nation in the world through protectionism, but instead through the talent and energy of immigrants.  Therefore, the best way to get out of the recession (depression) we presently are in is to open our borders so all those talented and innovative Indians, Koreans, Chinese, etc., will come here and show us how to get out of the mess we are in.  Yep, you heard it here first folks!  The 304 million Americans we already have in this country do not have the talent and are not innovative enough to solve our problems and we should import people from third world countries to save us from the economic mess we are in.  And Mr. Friedman says this with a straight face and expects us to accept this claptrap as being true.  Talk about New World Order propaganda.  I guess Mr. Friedman aspires to become editor of his newspaper (the New York Times) and knows that by belching out such unmitigated garbage he will please our New World Order masters, thus helping him reach his goal.  Apparently, Mr. Friedman is a shining example that in American today, honesty and integrity is nothing and ass kissing is everything.

On February 13^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Stimulus bill no miracle cure - Plan will reduce, not halt, continued job cuts", followed the next day by an article entitled, "Congress passes stimulus package".  Let's see now, Congress just spent 787 billion dollars of taxpayer money on a stimulus package and they know it will not accomplish what it is supposed to.  Let's say this in a different way; 787 billion dollars of taxpayer money is being spent just so Congress can claim they did something even though they know the something they did will not work.  Did you happen to catch the physical size of the stimulus bill?  It is a pile of papers over six inches high.  How many members of Congress do you think read this bill?  If they haven't read it, how do they know what they are voting for?  If they do not know what they are voting for, what do we pay them for?  Oh, I know!  Their huge salaries and exorbitant benefit packages help stimulate our economy.  How truly wonderful to live in a Nation where those we elect and pay to represent us, do so by not knowing what they are voting for and worse, think the proper way to do their jobs by voting as they are told.  Welcome to the New World Order where truth is nothing and appearances are everything.  Apparently, we are paying our Congressmen to appear like they are representing us and doing their jobs.  We revolted against the British because of taxation without our representation.  Now we have representation without representation.

On February 18^th, the Daytona Beach News-Journal ran an editorial entitled, "Justice hides behind a cruel doctrine".  According to the editorial, justice department officials under George Bush argued that the court should not hear lawsuits concerning the "rendering" of detainees to friendly governments overseas where they would be tortured because of the need to protect state secrets. This lame excuse was without substance because no state secrets were involved in these lawsuits other than the fact that our government broke the law.  Apparently, under the administration of Barack Obama, nothing has changed because on February 9^th, in a similar lawsuit, Justice Department officials used this same argument.  Apparently, the candidate of change has done nothing to change this.  From this we can conclude that, like George Bush, he subscribes to the curious notions that if the government does it, it is legal and that government rights supersede those of citizens.

January - News Views Update

On December 19, the Daytona Beach News-Journal ran an IN BRIEF news blurb entitled, "Mom has 18^th baby".  According to the brief, Michelle Duggar from Rogers, Arkansas just had her 18^th baby.  The baby girl is doing fine and the proud father, Jim Bob (no joke) Duggar remarked that he and his wife would both love to have more children.  What a perfect News Views item to go with December's article entitled, "Homo sapiens: a Failed Species".  Eighteen children and Mr and Mrs. Duggar would love to have more.  To be sure, it is obvious that the Duggars are not concerned with what they are doing to our planet and the fragile ecological system which supports life here because they would love to have more children.  I suppose if you look at it in the right way the Duggars are really helping us out.  Thanks to them we have 18 more people in the world to figure out a way to save ourselves from the coming environmental collapse caused by over-population.

On December 20^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Blagojevich: ‘I'm not going to quit.  According to the article, disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has no intention of quitting over his corruption arrest declaring that he will fight, fight, and fight until his last breath because he has done nothing wrong.  Of course he did nothing wrong and he is in good company for claiming this is the case.  Bill Clinton did nothing wrong and he set the precedent that if you fight the system, you can beat it.  Why should Governor Blagojevich be any different?  He knows that he has done nothing worse than counterparts in local, state, and our national government.  The only difference is he got caught.  The point being, why should he resign just because he got caught?  Again, look at Bill Clinton!  He was a womanizing sexual predator who lied under oath and obstructed justice to cover up his crimes.  Despite this Barack Obama thinks Bill Clinton was a great president.  I am sure that someday, Governor Blagojevich will be called a great governor and there is no reason for him to think otherwise.

On December 22^nd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Bail-out banks' execs raked in $1.6 billion".  According to the article, the executives of banks who are getting taxpayer bailout money were paid $1.6 billion in salaries, bonuses and other benefits in 2007.  In other words, these executives were given this money for driving their companies into insolvency and now Congress, in its infinite capacity for feathering its own nest, is helping to finance this plundering with borrowed taxpayer dollars.  The bottom line is that these banks are not in financial trouble and the so called drying up of credit is nothing more than an extortion scheme to steel more money from the American people.  The executives in question should be arrested and brought to justice, but don't hold your breath, because the politicians who helped them pull off this scam will ensure this never happens.

On December 24^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "recession hits new lows - Bush: Worse news to come".  According to the article, Nariman Behravesh, chief economist at HIS Global Insight, a Lexington, Mass. forecasting firm, said we are in the worst recession of the postwar period and it will get a lot worse before it gets better.  Left unsaid by Mr. Beharavesh and officials within our own government is that this recession is going to become a depression and it is a self-induced depression brought about by the globalists who control our government.  In deference to these international criminals, Mr. Beharavesh lied to us when he alluded to things getting better because the bottom is nowhere in sight and this Nation will never return to the prosperity it once enjoyed.

How can anyone believe otherwise?  We have no manufacturing base left and without one, a full recovery for this Nation is impossible.  Sure, the coming administration will create jobs for millions of Americans and this will stave off the worst aspects of what we are in for, but once this is accomplished we will be forced to keep these jobs forever.  We are trapped into a perpetual "never never land" where holding off an ever looming catastrophe instead of addressing it will be the status quo.  The only real solution to our problems is let nature take its course and get rid of the Federal Reserve System which brought this mess upon us.   What is happening to us is no accident and our real problem is that the people who stabbed us in the back are still running things.

On December 1^st, MSNBC ran an article entitled, "Coral growth in decline at great Barrier Reef - Warming oceans cited; ‘pretty scary' findings, one expert says".  According to the article, calcification or growth of coral in Australia's Great Barrier Reef is down by thirteen percent between 1990 and 2005.  This sharp decline is unprecedented in the past 400 years and is alarming because slower growth puts survival of the entire reef system at risk.  Death of the reef system could have a serious impact on the biodiversity of the oceans ecological systems and result in further degradations of already depleted fish stocks.  Oh boy, now we have another imminent threat to mankind for the New World Order to ignore so they can continue to plunder the world of its resources.   And Jim Bob Duggar has eighteen children and would love to have more.  Why doesn't someone tell Jim Bob that his love for children is killing us?

On January 2^nd, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Panel: Raise gas tax 50% - Levy would fund road building, repair".  According to the article, a federal commission is recommending that federal taxes on gasoline and diesel fuel be increased by 50% to finance highway construction and repair.  Excuse me!  This is just what Americans need right now; more taxes.  Roads and their repair used to be funded by income taxes.  Oh, I forgot!  Income taxes only cover the interest on our national debt, and nothing is left over for governmental services.  Okay, so why not have the military pay for this construction and repair.  After all, President Eisenhower justified construction of the interstate highway system by arguing that it was needed for national defense.

Indeed, why not just fund these things by increasing the national debt.  We fight wars, give foreign aid, bail out banks, explore space, etc., etc., with borrowed money.  Why not borrow money to build and repair roads.  Ronald Reagan said deficits do not matter.  Let's take him at his word and eliminate taxes altogether and fund everything our government does through deficit spending.  Why not?  If we can do this for some government programs, why can't we do it for all of them?  If deficits truly do not matter, then no matter how fast they grow or how large they become, they still do not matter.  It is stupid to pay government anything when they can pay themselves by just printing money.  How come no one else thought of this?

On January 3^rd, the Washington Post ran an article entitled, "U.S. could be facing debt ‘time bomb' this year - Investors' thirst for American securities could finally be quenched".  According to the article, Barack Obama is considering a massive spending package to pull the nation out of recession will generate a deficit as large as $2 trillion this year, an unprecedented number which could cause the world to lose confidence in U.S. dollars and securities.  Why doesn't someone tell Barack Obama that deficit spending and borrowing is what got us into this mess in the first place and borrowing more will only compound our problem.  Barack Obama is like a fireman who uses gasoline to put out a fire.  I thought he was going to be the President of change.  All he seems to be changing is the speed at which our monetary system and economy will collapse.

On January 4^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Lead for car batteries poisons an African town - Battery recycling leaves deadly levels of contamination, claims 18 children".   According to the article, lead from recycling batteries within the town has polluted the ground in the area with lead and retrieving this lead is causing sickness and death to all who live in the area.  An official of The World Health Organization remarked that this gives us a glimpse of how globalization is wreaking havoc in the developing world.  The article also added that the ocean used to provide these people with a livelihood, but fishing hasn't been good the past few years.  Two points are evident here.  First, globalization is a curse to the world because by pursuing it, we are destroying all chances of mitigating the harmful effects of man's activity on the world's ecological systems.  Secondly, fish stock depletion caused by overpopulation will be the inevitable death of us all.  When will we wake up?  The canaries are dropping like flies everywhere and like the idiots we are, we keep ignoring them.

On January 6^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Critics sound off on Madoff affair.  According to the article, Bernard Madoff ‘s $50 billion Ponzi scheme indicates serious problems in how the Securities and Exchange Commission does its job.  Let's see now, a Ponzi scheme is fraud because money is taken from new clients and used to pay income to old clients.  This being the case, how come deficit spending by our government is not fraud?  In a Ponzi scheme, eventually, enough new investors cannot be found to pay off the old and the entire house of cards collapses making everyone a loser.  When our government spends money it does not have, it does so by taking money from future citizens and giving it to current citizens.  Eventually, there will not be enough future citizens to pay off this debt and like a Ponzi scheme the entire house of cards will collapse making everyone a loser.  Therefore, when they send Mr. Madoff to jail they should put our President and everyone in Congress in the cell besides him because when it comes to being criminals Mr. Madoff is small change compared to the people who own and run our government.

On January 10^th, the Daytona Beach News-Journal ran an editorial entitled, "Freshwater fish in peril - Pollution, habitat loss taking heavy toll in North America".   According to the editorial, the oceans are being depleted of fish with a 90% decline of the more desirable species having occurred in the past 20 years.  Now scientists have found a similar decline in fresh water species in North America inland waters.  The editorial then goes on to list a plethora of reasons for this decline never stopping to point out the over-riding cause of the problem.  Fish stocks are dying off throughout the world because of the consequences of human activity and changing how we do things will only put off the inevitable.  The problem is not how we do things, but how many of us are doing the doing.  Becoming more efficient will help, but it will not solve the problem for the simple reason that too many of us are here no matter how efficient we become. The canaries in the cage are dying in droves and being a species with an infinite capacity for stupidity we keep ignoring them.  We are not only soiling our own nest, but are doing it to such a degree that it is killing off the natural world and soon it will kill us as well.  Maybe one of Jim Bob Duggar's kids will help us solve this problem?

On January 8^th, the Associated Press ran an article entitled, "Mysterious illness killing Calif. Pelicans".  According to the article, wildlife experts stymied as to the reasons why sick, disoriented, and bruised pelicans are being found in droves along California's 1,000 mile coastline.  Let's see now, in just this one month of News Views articles we have learned the Great Barrier Reef is dying, salt water fish stocks are becoming depleted, Fresh water fish are disappearing, and now pelicans are dying off.   Ho Hum!  Nothing to worry about as long as I can buy that new I-pod I want.  I wish all these slimy things would just hurry up and die off altogether.  Then we won't have to read about them in the newspaper anymore.
